EPI RU

Preliminary informing (PI) of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation consists in the fact that the authorized person in advance, at least 2 hours before the vehicle arrives at the border, sends a notification of the established form to the customs authority with detailed information about the arrival of goods transported by road transport. When registering an IP with the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the authorized person receives a barcode indicating an identification number.

The main goal of the RF EPI is to optimize and speed up the process of clearance of your goods when crossing the border.

The following data is required for registration of the RF EPI:

1. CMR – international waybill;
2. Invoice (Invoice, Proforma Invoice or Waybill);
3. Driver’s phone number;
4. Driver’s passport;
5. Technical passport for vehicles (STS);
6. Name of the checkpoint at the entrance to the EAEU;
7. Name of the checkpoint when leaving the EAEU (in case of transit through the EAEU);
8. Packing list and/or specification (if any);
9. Certificate of approval of a road vehicle for the carriage of goods under customs seals and seals (if any);
10. Documents confirming compliance with prohibitions and restrictions (import/export licenses, certificates, etc.) (if any)
